Sarah: Did you decide on what we're going to do next weekend?
Sophia: I think we should do something fun!
John: Why don't we travel to Paris?
Sophia: That sounds great, but Paris is very far away.
Sarah: I think that's a bad idea. It will cost us a lot of money.
Sophia: How about going to the cinema? It's fun and doesn't cost a lot.
John: That sounds good. Why not?
Sarah: That's a great idea. Let's do it!

Provide reasons for declining each of the three suggestions from exercise D.
💡 Tip: When making suggestions, use polite language and be open to other people's ideas. When declining, always provide a reason and try to offer an alternative if possible.
👥 F - Pair Work Activity
Work in pairs (2 students) and suggest activities to do in the classroom next time. Accept and refuse + justify your choices (debate).
Practice using the expressions you've learned to make suggestions, accept them, and politely decline with reasons.
