How to Write a Postcard
Writing: postcard to a friend
Introduction
A postcard is a short message you send to someone, often while you are on holiday or visiting a new place. It’s a quick way to share your experiences and send warm greetings.
Postcard Structure
- Greeting: Start with "Dear ..." or "Hi ..."
- Body: Write about where you are, what you are doing, and something interesting you’ve seen or done.
- Closing: End with "Best wishes," "Love," or "See you soon," followed by your name.
Example
Dear Sara,
I’m in Paris and the weather is amazing! Yesterday, I visited the Eiffel Tower and took some beautiful photos. The food here is delicious — I tried croissants for breakfast this morning.
See you soon,
Lina
